One of the comments I hid today really shows why it is a waste of time to trying to get people to understand honest and factual arguments: people are unable to honestly evaluate arguments. People tell you what you actually mean as if you are incapable of doing so yourself. Imagine if this happened in our day to day lives. If someone said "Group X are all evil and greedy" in a truly egalitarian society, whatever you put as group X shouldn't affect how "taboo" the statement is, nor should the identity of the person who said it matter. A white person putting on black face should be no more or less offensive than a black person putting on white face, or an Indian putting on black or white face.
